Our Story

Ember Root Creations began at our kitchen table in Chilliwack, BC. 🌿

What started as curiosity about layered wood art and a new laser engraver, quickly became something more, a shared creative outlet for us as a husband-and-wife team building something together. 

We're inspired by the the mountains, rivers, forest and communities around us. From our Earthmark jewelry to our wood hair clips and locally inspired keepsakes, we create pieces that carry a little meaning, a connection to nature, or a reminder of a place that you love. 

We work with natural wood, including reclaimed hardwoods in our Earthmark collection, allowing the grain and character of each piece to shine through. We laser cut and engrave our designs, then sand, finish and assemble them by hand in our Chilliwack studio. 

Our Earthmark designs pair nature inspired symbols with meaningful stories, making them thoughtful gifts for yourself or someone special. Our keepsakes celebrate the places and experiences that make this part of British Columbia feel like home. 

Ember Root Creations is more than a small business for us. It's a creative chapter we're growing together -one piece at a time.
